Meet your Hanauma Bay Bus Driver at your designated pick up time & hotel location. Our Drivers can be easily spotted wearing a yellow t-shirt & holding a blue sign that says “HOP”.
On the bus, you will be given a Hanauma Bay briefing paper, which will give you the information you need to know before you go to the bay.
You will then have to sign a liability form which is required before heading into the bay.
You will then arrive at the HOP office where you will pick up all your snorkel equipment.
If you would like, we have underwater digital cameras for a $25 rental fee. If you want to rent a camera, you must fill out the rental agreement form & a copy of your credit card. We also have SD memory cards for the camera that you can buy. $10 for 2GB & $20 for 4GB.
When you arrive, our staff will ask for your shoe size for your fin rentals.
Our staff will then assist you in finding the right size mask for your snorkeling adventure.
We also have life jacket rentals for $5.00.
Additional upgrades: Beach chairs, Viewing Boards, Dry Snorkels, Floatation Devices are all $5.00 each. We also have Beach Mats for sale for $2.00, which is cheaper then getting them in Waikiki!
After you get all the equipment you need, head to the front counter & choose your return time from the Bay. Pick up time from Hanauma Bay are as followed: 11:45 am, 1:15 pm & 2:45 pm. The Bus Return to Waikiki is an estimated time of at least 1 Hour after your Hanauma Bay Pick up time.
If you want to rent a locker for your valuables, it is $5.00
In our office, we have complimentary coffee for you to enjoy while waiting for the taxi to Hanauma Bay.
You will then get in our taxi and head up to the bay. *Our shop is convienently only 5 minutes away from Hanauma Bay.
Where we drop you off, we will pick you up in the same place at your designated pick up time. After drop off, head to the Front Entrance.
The Entrance fee to Hanauma Bay is $7.50 for anyone over the age of 13. Anyone younger then 13 is free!
After you pay the entrance fee, you will be required to watch a short 15 minute film about Hanauma Bay. They will provide you with a ticket for the movie, so be sure to get in line at the designated movie time.
After you watch the movie, head down the hill to the bay. If you don’t feel like walking, hop on the trolley! Trolley fees are $.50 down & $1.00 up.
Pick a spot on the beach & enjoy your time in the bay!
Showers & bathrooms are located near the trolley waiting areas at the bottom of the bay.
Head back up the hill at least 15 minutes before your designated pick up time.
Head to the same place where the taxi dropped you off.
Arrive back to HOP & return all your equipment.
Head back on the bus to return to Waikiki.
The bus driver will take you back to your hotel.
